Garden Designs by Angela offers design service for those who wish to coordinate with a landscape contractor to complete the work, and also an in-home consulting service for those who want to tackle the work themselves. In addition, we offer a variety of residential and commercial planting services.

DESIGN SERVICE – 4 steps
1 – Initial meeting with client.
A client questionnaire is completed to determine your exact landscaping needs. Discussions take place taking into account such things as budget and phases of construction.
2 – Site Analysis.
Site measurements are taken. We look at grading and drainage and different climates ( micro-climates ) within the yard, as well as access to the yard. It is extremely helpful if you can provide us with an RPR, or property survey, or a Legal Land Description.
3 – Design - Initial.
A preliminary design is developed and drawn in CAD. We meet to review the design including all of the hardscaping materials and plant materials to be used, and make any necessary changes to the design.
4 – Design - Final.
Final Presentation of design, which includes CAD drawings, plant material lists and coloured photographs of all the plant materials being used
At this stage, your design can be forwarded to a landscape contractor for a cost proposal/estimate. Garden Designs by Angela works with full-service landscape contractors, and we coordinate between the homeowner and the landscape contractor to ensure that the homeowner is satisfied.
RATES FOR DESIGN SERVICE:
Designs average $400 to $600 for an average city lot, depending on the complexity of the design. Please contact us to discuss your project!
IN-HOME CONSULTING SERVICE
We can provide you with ideas for patios, decks, hardscaping features, and plant materials that would work well in your yard. We will also layout your basic landscape plan for you if you are self-motivated and want to do the work yourself.
RATES FOR IN-HOME CONSULTING SERVICE
We do in-home consultations for a rate of $75/hour. Please contact us to arrange an in-home consult!
PLANTING SERVICE – Seasonal Containers & Shrubs/Perennials
Container Plantings
We do commercial and residential container plantings for all seasons. Please take a look through our gallery.
Shrub and Perennial Plantings
We do shrub and perennial plantings. No job is too small. Please contact us to discuss your project!
We use Mykes, a mychorrhizal growth supplement, and organic compost in all of our plantings
ALL PLANT CONTAINERS AND PLASTIC MATERIALS ARE EITHER RECYCLED OR RE-USED.
